Jeremiah B.C. Axelrod is Adjunct Assistant Professor of History, Cultural Studies, and American Studies at Occidental College.
A textbook designed to facilitate the use of critical theory in undergraduate writing, co-written with Rise B. Axelrod, A Theory Toolkit, is forthcoming from W.W. Norton.
His book about the urban development of Southern California, Inventing Autopia: Dreams and Visions of the Modern Metropolis in Jazz Age Los Angeles, was recently released by the University of California Press.
